Hi I’m Brett

Colorado Brass is the state's premier British-style brass band, a nonprofit ensemble of thirty brass players and percussionists performing across Colorado and the Front Range. Led by Music Director Dr. Brett M. Keating, the band brings a rich competition pedigree, community commitment, and versatile programming to concerts, festivals, and private events of all sizes.

Flexible Ensemble Options We offer multiple group configurations to fit your event perfectly. From our full 30-piece brass and percussion ensemble for concert venues, to the 12-piece Colorado Versatile Brass for community gatherings, to our Brass Quintet for more intimate performances — we scale to your needs.
Proven Competition Record Colorado Brass has earned multiple podium finishes at the North American Brass Band Association Championships and the U.S. Masters Brass Band Championships. Our ensembles have consistently placed at the national level, including championship titles and awards for outstanding performance and artistry.
Diverse Musical Programming We perform a wide range of styles including British brass band standards, contemporary works, jazz, Latin music, and world premieres. Our programming is crafted to engage audiences across all backgrounds and event types.
Educational Outreach Beyond performances, we offer side-by-side concerts, masterclasses, and clinics for university and high school ensembles. Our Youth Brass Weekend program reflects our deep commitment to nurturing the next generation of musicians.
